For years al-Qaeda has made Yemen a central station for its members who came from everywhere. Yemen was their safe haven, in way that raised enquiries about the nature of its relationship with the former regime, and the advantages of its occurrence especially that its great direct threat was to Saudi Arabia and the world in general.
What al-Qaeda thought to be a safe haven turned out to be a deadly trap, after the latest army operations in an eye-catching upheaval that destroyed their centers successively returning them to scratch, to finish the mission started by the drones which had hunted dozens of their leaders during the previous period.
The issue is simply in need of support, and the reconstruction of the economy, which was obtained through the Yemen friends conference, especially Saudi Arabia, which donated $ 3.25 billion for the development schemes, in addition to the oil support and other options. However Saudi Arabia doesn't want to send its money so as to feed al-Qaeda and arm it.
The concern regarding the important neighbor doesn't mean to allow it to be a dagger in the waist. There is a necessity to carry out decisive operations so as to eradicate the terrorist organization and restore stability of the country so that it will be able to rebuild a new stage, free of anxiety and suspicions that associate the country with terror and its elements.
The army operations were so powerful, violent, effective and rapid in a way that are quite different from the previously established ways of its performance particularly in this respect.
It is likely that these operations had been highly coordinated with other countries within the army, at least the surprise factor, the easiness of targeting the most important sites, so as to direct a blow to the organization and break up its presence in Yemen. The most important issue is the continuation of the pursuit for the good of Yemen, to guarantee its stability and to protect the whole world. If the army succeeds in destroying al-Qaeda many things will change in the area.
